Dead they are just mucus and membranes stuff like
rods, cones, lenses a
doorknob, fish bait, rock but
in your face in its
home for them it seems
they are made of the eyes of
33 children
recovered from cancer
discovering fireworks
tickled and loved
oblivious to death
endearing

Why is that?
